Location: Tosca Banquet Hall, 800 Champlain Avenue, Oshawa,
Ontario L1J 7A6.
(Directions off 401 Hwy. Exit at Stevenson's Road if coming from the west,
Thickson's Road if coming from the east. Tosca is on the corner of Thornton
& Champlain. Plenty of Parking. If needed, nearest accommodation is
Travelodge Oshawa, Quality Suites Oshawa, or Holiday Inn Oshawa among
others.

Date: Saturday, February 28, 2009.
Receiving line at 11:00 a.m, Luncheon at
12:30 p.m.

Tickets $45.00.

2007-2008 Events

Ontario Chapter Welcomes new members from Markham Chapter Consolidation.
The evening event was presided over by Helen Delaney, Worthy Grand Matron and Calvin Thomas, Worthy Grand Patron. It was held at Ontario Chapter in Ajax Ontario on October 26th, 2007.

Helen Delaney, Worthy Grand Matron and Calvin Thomas, Worthy Grand Patron alongside. They are surrounded by many of Ontario Chapter's newest members.

 Grand Officers were in attendance, as well as many other members and visitors. The Chapter room was packed on both upper and lower floors. New members were given a most hearty welcome by all. Ontario Chapter is both proud and grateful to have so many wonderful new members. The evening was filled with wonderful musical interludes by Gay Adair, P.D.D.G.M. Trina Astor-Stewart, P.M. composed a special poem of welcome. A gift of a red carnation was presented to each new member by Louise Overy, Worthy Matron.

Time for refreshments, a wonderful spread was organized by Priscilla Eberhardt PM.

Ontario Chapter #227 Grand Officers Night in 'The Country Charm & Hospitality' Year.


Pat Larson, Worthy Grand Matron and Priscilla Eberhardt, Worthy Matron of Ontario Chapter, lead the Grand Family, members and guests in the enjoyment of a lovely buffet supper.


Linda Addison, District Deputy Grand Matron for District 11, Pat Larson, Worthy Grand Matron and Priscilla Eberhardt, Worthy Matron of Ontario Chapter chat with each other.

Betty Romenick, Grand Secretary and Karen Caldwell, Secretary for Ontario Chapter enjoy the evening together.

Long time member of Ontario Chapter, Ivy Gannon PM who for many years took lots of pictures of chapter events was able to come out and enjoy the evening. Gay Adair, P.D.D.G.M below with Ivy.

Of course everyone enjoyed a special home made whipped cream and strawberry Torte for dessert. Decorated with fruit layers on chocolate, making up a star.
